Mark is retired from the Nestle Company after serving in several Sales and Sales Management positions throughout his forty-one year career.
Mark Lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with his wife, Penny. They have two sons, Mark III and Chris and six grandchildren. Both Penny and Mark graduated from East Carolina University in 1962 and continue to actively support the "Pirates".
Mark became involved with the FairTax initiative seven years ago after reading the first book written by Congressman Linder and Talk Show host, Neal Boortz. Further understanding followed after reading much of the 22M in FairTax research developed by Americans For Fair Taxation.
He believes that the alternative of taxing consumption (The FairTax) vs.taxing income is a much better long-term option for the Country as a whole and as an individual citizen. He devotes a considerable amount of time and effort to his new "career" as a volunteer representative of the initiative.
